Zested Orange & Chocolate Energy Bites

Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large orange juiced and 1/2 of it zested
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 12 large dates soak for 30-60 minutes to soften if needed
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients, except chocolate chips and the zest of the 1/2 orange, to a food processor.
  • Pulse until the mixture is well combined
  • Once combined, add in chocolate chips and zest and mix by hand until well combined.
  • Roll into 2-inch balls. Freeze in a glass container to store.
