The almond flour combined with the psyllium makes these fiber-rich and a perfect way to enjoy reimagined “bread”

Grain-Free Bread Rolls

  • oven
  • kettle
  • 1/3 cup ground psyllium husk
  • 1 1/4 cups almond flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (if you want your bread to have a sweet aroma)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C
  2. Combine the dry ingredients
  3. Bring water to a boil
  4. Add vinegar and egg whites to the dry ingredients and combine well. Add boiling water, while beating with a hand mixer for about 30 seconds. Consistency should resemble Play-Doh
  5. Bake on the lower rack for 50-60 minutes depending on the size of your bread rolls. They are done when you can hear a hollow sound when tapping on the bottom of the roll
